Hello
My name is Selah Holley, and I am a certified therapeutic animal nutritionist through the NAVC (North American Veterinary Community) program. To give you a little background on who I am, I live in a small town called Marysville, which is just north of Seattle, where I’ve grown up most of my life. For the past five years, I have been the manager of a pet store, and I also worked at a vet's office for a year, which has not only deepened my passion for animals but has also strengthened my knowledge and understanding of people’s relationships with their furry family members. In addition to working with animals, I also have several pets of my own, including my 14-year-old dog Charlie, who has grown up with me and who is the inspiration behind my site and lovingly known as the ‘LittleBlackDawg.’ In addition to Charlie, I have a guinea pig named Pumpkin, a tortoise named Oswald, and even my own fish tanks! Two big things I’ve always been passionate about are animals and nutrition, and nutrition not just for myself and my family, but also for my pets. Nutrition is one of the most crucial aspects of a pet's well-being and can affect many aspects of their life that you may not even be aware of. Every day at work, I assist many pet parents in navigating the overwhelming variety of pet food and supply options, which can often lead to confusion and poor decisions. My primary goal is to help you find high-quality products, especially when it comes to your pets’ diet. I aim to provide the same level of guidance and support here, just as I do in my day-to-day life!
